클로킹 하는 생명체 발견
Sapphirina copepod, a.k.a. ”sea sapphire” is a tiny shrimp like crustacean that makes up the bottom of the food chain.
The microscopic layers of crystal plates inside their cells catch light and reflect back different hues,
from bright gold to deep blue that resembles like a gem.
해석 - 사파이어 코페포드, 흔히 "바다 사파이어" 라고 불리는 이 새우와 비슷한 이 동물은 먹이사슬의 최하층에 위치한다.이 동물의 세포들은 미세한 크리스탈 벽을 갖고있는데 이 벽들이 들어오는 빛들을 캡쳐한뒤 그 빛들의 빛갈을 황금색부터 진한 파랑색으로 변조시켜 반사시키는데 이때문에 사람의 눈에 보석처럼 보이게 된다.
