새축 두경기 알기쉬운 분석~~
Germany v France
Make no mistake, this is a friendly game nothing else. Coaches will be experimenting, star players will offer more or less indifferent performances and so on.
They call it the UEFA Nations League and maybe it will be interesting later on, but for now we are looking at a couple of friendlies.
Germany, the big underachievers in the World Cup, come with basically the same group of players as they did in Russia minus M Özil and S Khedira. Coach Loew has added a few players, but I am not impressed.
France will travel to Germany with their World Cup winning squad including Mbappe, Pogba, Kante and the rest. The only one missing is their injured goal keeper H Lloris.
You cannot compare these squads. Would any German player find a place in the France starting line up? Maybe their keeper, maybe T Kroos.
Germany will be looking for some kind of revenge in this match, but I am on the side of France.
Wales v Ireland
If there will be at least one motivated person down in Wales tomorrow it is the new Welsh coach Ryan Giggs. The legend will be looking for a winning start in this his first home game as the Welsh coach.
I checked the Welsh squad and they will be at their very best, or that is my impression anyway. G Bale will play , A Ramsey will and some four or five other Premiership players.
I cannot recall when I saw a worse Irish squad. Their strikers are from Millwall, Preston and Burnley. Jon Walters is a Burnley player, but I had almost forgotten about him. He has joined Ipswich, I just found out. They have J Hendrick in their midfield, but that is about it.
Defensively they look sound, I will give them that.
Backing Wales.
