Marc Gasol knocked down a career-high four 3-pointers on Sunday, finishing a comeback victory in overtime with 20 points, 10 boards, one assist, one steal and one block in 29 minutes.
Gasol was on a minute-limit tonight but he came up huge when it mattered, and his four 3-pointers are fascinating -- he attempted three 3-pointers last season and hadn't made four triples in any of his previous eight NBA seasons. There are a ton of 'big men shooting from the perimeter' stories during the offseason, but this one has been legitimized. Just remember that Gasol will be sitting out a game during some back-to-back sets this year, which may lead to a DNP this Tuesday or Wednesday. Oct 30 - 11:43 PM
